Alliance Française Aix-Marseille Provence

Green Alliance

The Alliance Française Aix-Marseille Provence is commited to

reducing its environmental impact

01

1 student enrolled
= 1 € donated to an association

We have entered into a partnership with Clean My Calanques, a Marseilles-based association that campaigns to preserve the ecosystem.

02

Less paper and more sorting and recycling

Since 2018, we have been working with the company Elise for paper recycling. Our Alliance is committed to reducing its paper consumption by 20% by 2022.

03

Less electricity

All our digital equipment is A-rated (EU Energy Label) and our lighting is low-energy LED.

04

Our recycled coffee capsules

As a large consumer of coffee, Af Aix-Marseille Provence recycles its capsules and the coffee used in agreement with Nespresso for a more sustainable coffee.

05

Less waste

We offer reusable plastic cups. These eco-cups are more environmentally friendly, and allow you to keep a souvenir of your visit to us!

06

Less markers thrown away

All our teachers use wooden erasable markers.

07

Ecology, a theme addressed in class

From level B1 onwards, all courses deal with the theme of ecology through debates.

08

Ecology and sustainable development

The Calanques National Park, the Cosquer cave, activities prepared by our teachers… ecology is never far away.

Our activities also remain in the theme of Sustainable Development :

Whether it is discovering places where biodiversity is protected, raising awareness of the danger of climate change and rising sea levels, or promoting organic farming and eco-responsibility, our cultural outings extend certain themes discussed in class around ecology and sustainable development.
