TCF IRN (Integration, Residence and Nationality)

The TCF Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité (IRN) meets the new provisions introduced by the French Ministry of the Interior, which set the level of French required for applicants for a long-term resident’s card at A2 (oral and written comprehension and expression tests), and the level of French required for applicants for French nationality at B1 (oral and written comprehension and expression tests).

We offer the TCF IRN in two formats:

Paper exam

• We will send you a notice of examination by post approximately 7 days before the date of the examination.
• The results will be mailed to you approximately 4 weeks after the exam.

Computer-based exam (at our premises)

• This exam takes place in our premises, we lend you a computer.
• Reserved for people who master the computer (the mouse to answer quickly to the MCQs and the keyboard to write texts – attention no spell checker authorized). This is an exam for people who use computers on a daily basis. If you take the test and are not computer literate, we cannot help you or reimburse you.
• Results will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks after the exam.
