Registration closes one week before the exam.

Presentation of the exam

The TCF Quebec was designed to meet the requirements of the Quebec authorities who make it compulsory and systematic to take standardised French tests and examinations as part of the procedures for obtaining the Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ), leading to the issue of a permanent visa. French and French speakers are also affected by this measure.

In our center, this exam is offered on computer only, the mastery of the computer is mandatory (the mouse to answer quickly to the MCQs and the keyboard to write texts – attention no spell checker authorized). This is an exam for people who use computers on a daily basis. If you take the test and you are not computer literate, we cannot help you or reimburse you. This exam takes place in our premises, we lend you a computer.

Duration and tests 

The TCF Canada consists of 4 tests : 

Documents to be provided on registration :

  • Your identity card
  • If you have a disability and need special arrangements to take your TCF Québec tests, you must inform us of this when you register and provide us with a medical certificate. We will forward your request to FEI, the decision of accommodation is theirs.

Fees

Please note that no refunds will be possible once the session has been validated by FEI.

Additional information

  • You will receive an invitation from us approximately 7 days before the date of the exam. 
  • The results will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks after the exam.
  • You can take the “TCF pour le Québec” as many times as you like. You must, however, wait two months between each test.
