Presentation of the diploma

The DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) and the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of Education to certify competence in the French language. They are valid for an unlimited period of time. There are 6 levels, from A1 (elementary) to C2 (advanced). The DELF and DALF exams are eligible for financing within the framework of the Personal Training Account (CPF).

The Alliance Française Aix Marseille Provence is an examination center for :

The DELF for the general public (A1, A2, B1, B2)
The DALF for the general public (C1, C2)
The DELF Prim (A1, A1.1, A2)
The DELF Junior (A1, A2, B1, B2)

France Education International (FEI), a public operator, is in charge of these certifications for the Ministry.

Who can take the DELF/DALF?

DELF/ DALF Tout Public

Anyone over the age of 16
Foreign candidates
French nationals from a non-French-speaking country who do not hold a French secondary or higher education diploma

DELF Junior :

Candidates aged 12 to 16 years old.

Your ID
The candidate number assigned to you if you have already taken a DELF or DALF.
If you have a disability and need special arrangements to take your exam, you must inform us of this when you register and provide us with a medical certificate. We will forward your request to FEI, the decision of accommodation is theirs.
